Dear University School Families,

We are thrilled to share that we are now halfway through our Art Felting residency with ArtFelt Studio, and the work students are creating has been truly wonderful. Students have been deeply engaged in hands-on learning, exploring texture, design, and creative expression alongside a visiting artist. It has been a joy to see their enthusiasm and creativity throughout this residency.

A reminder that Friday, January 30 is a Non-Instructional Day, and there will be no school for students. Staff will be participating in system-wide professional learning focused on strengthening teaching and learning across our schools.

The forecast is calling for warmer temperatures this week, which will be a welcome change. As melting and refreezing occurs, we ask families to continue reminding students to move carefully, as icy patches may still be present on the field and around the school grounds.

Thank you, as always, for your ongoing partnership and support in helping students arrive on time, prepared, and ready to learn. We wish everyone a great week at University School.

Warm regards,
Jennifer McTighe and Lori Bonanno
