Hello University Families!
We’ve truly been blessed with beautiful November weather so far, but it looks like the colder temperatures are finally on their way. Please ensure students come to school dressed warmly with coats, hats, and mittens so they can continue to enjoy outdoor recess comfortably and safely.
This is also the final week of our Veterans Food Bank Drive. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Kim’s class for their wonderful leadership and organization throughout the school. Their efforts have truly made this initiative possible.
A reminder that Learning Conferences will be taking place this week. We look forward to connecting with families to celebrate student growth and discuss goals for the months ahead. If you haven’t yet scheduled a conference time, please do so at your
earliest convenience (information on sign-up below).

Veteran’s Food Bank Drive
University School would like to invite all families to participate in our Annual University School Veterans’ Food Bank Food Drive. THANK YOU for the donations that have already come in to support this initiative. This is the last week we are collecting donations. Please ask your relatives or your neighbours if they would like to donate food items too and send the food items to school with your children to drop off in our food donation boxes this week. You and your children could even bring them in when you come for interviews this THURSDAY and FRIDAY!
Learning Conferences - In Person
Student Learning Conferences for Kindergarten to Grade 6 will be held on Thursday, November 27 from 3:30pm to 8:00pm and Friday, November 28 from 8:00am to 12:00pm. To access My School Conferences and book your conference beginning
on November 21 please visit : MyCBE - Once signed in go to > MyCBE Apps > my School Conferences. Please note you will have access to book conferences until Wednesday, November 26 until 10:00pm. Following that you will need to call the main office at 403-777-6240.

Message from School Council
University School Movie Night on December 11 - there will be a family movie night at University School. Doors will open at 5:45, and the movie starts at 6:00! Entry will be by donation. There will be a cash-only concession with treats like chips, drinks, and other sweets. Bring a blanket, pyjamas, friends, and some cash for the concession
