Hello University School Families,

You’re getting your Monday Message a little early, since there’s no school on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday for Fall Break. Enjoy the extra time with family and friends!

As we approach Remembrance Day on November 11, we encourage everyone to take a quiet moment to reflect and give thanks to those who have served and continue to serve our country.

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Our school community continues to thrive because of you!

Warmly,

Ms. McTighe and Ms. Bonanno

Veterans’ Food Bank Drive

Our school is proud to be supporting the Veterans’ Food Bank again this year!
Ms. Kim’s Grade 3 class has beautifully decorated the collection boxes located in the main foyer.

Here’s a special message from the students of Ms. Kim’s class:

“We’re excited to share that our class is hosting a Veterans’ Food Bank Drive from November 17–28
Our veterans have done so much to protect and serve our country, and this is our way of giving back and showing appreciation.  We’re collecting non-perishable food items such as canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats or fish, and toiletries.
Did you know that peanut butter is one of the veterans’ favourite food items? Every donation helps make a difference! Thank you for your support.” — Abi, Bianca, and Madison
