Good Morning University School Families,

Mother's Day - We Appreciate the many caring people in our community

We hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend and found some time to relax and connect with family and friends. We also want to acknowledge that yesterday may have been a meaningful day for many in our community as Mother’s Day was celebrated. We recognize and appreciate the many caring adults, mothers, grandmothers, aunties, guardians, and family members who support and nurture our students each day.

Warm Weather - Bikes and Scooters - Safety, Helments, Traffic!

With the warmer weather arriving, we are seeing more students biking and scootering to school. If your child is riding to and from school, please take some time to review bike safety expectations together, including wearing helmets, using crosswalks appropriately, and staying aware of traffic and pedestrians around the school grounds. We appreciate your support in helping keep all students safe.

Outdoor Learning and Breaks - Dress for the Weather

As we continue through spring, students are encouraged to come prepared for outdoor learning and recess rain or shine. Layers, appropriate footwear, and weather-ready clothing help students stay comfortable and enjoy outdoor time throughout the day.

Non-Instruction Day Long Weekend

A reminder that there is no school this Friday, May 15 (Non-Instructional Day) and Monday, May 18 (Victoria Day). School will resume on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

Here’s to a great week of learning together!
