Paint the Pavement
Paint the Pavement - we need your help! The University Heights Community Association in partnership with the City of Calgary, Activate YYC, University School and Westmount Charter are calling for your designs and time to paint the pavement around the crosswalks near our schools.
More information will be available for interested students at the University School office beginning on Monday. We can't wait to see your artwork in our community!

Mathematics Flex Day!
University School held its second Mathematics Flex Day this past Friday. Students intermixed between classes, grades, and rooms to meet some new people, learn from different teachers, and engage in a variety of math games and activities. We encourage you to speak to your child(ren) about what games they played.
Sharing the Road Safely
A group of University School students has been working by collecting data to determine ways we can improve student safety to and from school. This last week data was collected about how student go to school and home from school and this upcoming week they will be doing a traffic analysis around the school. This work is supported by Everactive Schools, the City of Calgary, and the University Heights Community Association.
As part fo this, students in grades 1 to 6 were given a map of the biking and walking paths within the City of Calgary. Subway Fun Lunch - April 18
Thursday, April 18 is the next Healthy Hunger Fun lunch and it is from Subway.
The last day to order this fun lunch is today, Saturday, April 13. Please go to Healthy Hunger to register for your lunches.
Morning Kindergarten students can wait until 11:10 am to receive their fun lunch. If they attend Summit they will have their food brought to them there.
All students will be eating lunch at 11:40 and the going outside together for lunch recess.
School Council & Parent Association Meeting - April 17
The next School Council and Parent Association meeting of the year is this Wednesday, April 17 @ 6:45 pm. The meeting will be virtual only so please use the link below to access the meeting.
The meetings are a great way to find out more about University School, ask questions, and be a part of something bigger. You can be an active participant in the meeting, just listen to what is being said, or find out how you can get involved in making University School an even more amazing place for your children. We really appreciate the feedback, new ideas, and greater involvement from families who have been joining the last few meetings. We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming meeting.

Registration for the 2024-25
Registration for all new students to University School remains open!
Information for registering your child to attend University School or another CBE school can be found on the CBE website or accessing the following link Kindergarten - Great Learning Starts Here. Registration can be completed online through School Engage.
We are planning an open house in later spring for all families interested in attending University School for the 2024-25 school year.
We look forward to welcoming you and your child to University School!
If your child is already a student of University School and will be returning next year then there is no need to register as you are automatically re-enrolled.
