Wheel Week - June 1 to June 8

For 2025, SHAPE’s Wheel Week is joining injury prevention partners in Alberta to celebrate Parachute’s Safe Kids Week with a focus on safe and active transportation. This is an opportunity to encourage students and their families to get active by walking or using bikes, scooters, or skateboards to travel to and from school, and around their communities. For resources and tips about keeping safe while using active transportation, see Safe Kids Week Alberta.

UES School Council Wants to Hear From You!

The University Elementary School Council wants to hear from you! Please complete this survey by Monday, June 9. The survey should only take a few minutes to complete and will help inform planning for the 2025/2026 school year.

We’re also looking for new members for the upcoming school year! Being part of the Council and Parent Association is a great way to get involved, meet new people, and help make University School an even better place. It’s fun, rewarding, and typically doesn’t require a big time commitment. We’d love to have you on board!

Join us at the next virtual School Council and Parent Association meeting on Wednesday, June 11 or email Council if you are interested or have questions (universityschoolcouncil@gmail.com
